Licensed by the Indonesian government as a traditional medicine
Other websites sell products that are a health risk because they are not government-controlled. On the Internet, even school children can pretend to be trading companies. But you better buy from sites that can prove that they are genuine businesses.
Our company is properly licensed and controlled by the government of Indonesia where we are located. The plants we use are properly identified by scientists. Our extracts are properly licensed and have been tested in our own laboratories and laboratories of the Indonesian government.
Tongkat ali is now sold by many small Internet traders, many of whom mix their own supplements. Because in many Western countries, the sale of dietary supplements is as unregulated as the sale of food, most of these products have not undergone any regulatory process.
The tongkat ali and kacip fatimah capsules of Sumatra Pasak Bumi are probably the only ones that are licensed by national authorities (in this case of the fourth largest country in the world, Indonesia) not just as food supplement but as "traditional medicine". (The US does not use the classification "traditional medicine". Our products are not pharmaceutical medicine as defined by the FDA. In compliance with FDA rules, we state that they are not intended to prevent, diagnose, or treat illnesses.
See below for links to photos that show how the Indonesian government license is printed on the labels of our bottles of extract capsules.

If ever you look at another Nomor Depkes, check what product has been approved.
We at Sumatra Pasak Bumi have been approved by the Indonesian government to manufacture and sell extract in capsules. There is also another facility that sells extract capsules but has a Nomor Depkes only for sachets of 6 gram of root powder (not extract). This is the same as when a facility approved for band aids goes into the production of AIDS drugs. For both there is a license, but it's not the same one.
